Waiting for the Kyoto University Library to Open

These pictures were taken by me on Friday morning January 26th. My mom and I were walking around Kyoto University trying to find some breakfast and we walked past the library that we had slept/studied in on Monday January 22nd. We were walking past the library a little before 8:45AM and I saw the weirdest thing… students were in line, waiting for the library to open!! I don’t think I’ve ever seen that; it was really cool. Now, I should mention that Kyoto University students were gearing up for final exams so maybe that’s why. And I’m not usually up that early to see a library before its open.

Cassie – Fun pictures and story! Have you showed them to the librarians here at Foothill? I bet they would enjoy them – of course they might be a little jealous . . . Cheryl
